You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Archie is a Golden Retriever/poodle mix, aka a goldendoodle. He came to the shelter as an owner surrender and is around 3 1/2 years old. Archie's family had a change in work schedules and Archie didn't adjust well to being left alone for longer hours. He's a BIG, happy boy who is fully vetted and his fee is $150. Archie is looking for a home in which he will not be left alone for long hours. He's a very social guy who does well with other dogs and is tolerant of cats. He does well with children. He has a very curly coat that will require regular grooming. A potential adopter should be prepared for this added expense. He's still a pretty young dog, too, so he will need regular exercise. He's just an all around good dude! NOTE:  Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South.
