Whisqonzin

My story

Meet our charming, snorty explorer—this sweet boy may have a gruff first impression, but underneath his kennel stress is a dog with a heart full of potential. Confident and curious, Whisqonzin is full of personality and loves treats and meeting people. He is generally friendly but is currently struggling with the noise and stimulation of shelter life, especially in tight quarters. But he has shown much calmer behavior once out and about. On walks, he pulls a bit but enjoys sniffing every inch of the trail, and once he warms up, he`s surprisingly affectionate—resting his head gently on you while soaking up attention. He appears house-trained and despite some initial reactivity, he`s shown he`s capable of calm, positive interactions with other dogs when handled thoughtfully. With a little patience, structure, and an environment where he can decompress, this snorty, soulful guy will absolutely shine.
