My story

Mookie | 1.5 Years old | 55lbs Howdy, my name is Mookie! I was procured by K9s For Warriors in November of 2024, after passing my initial test with flying colors. After being in the service dog program for a few months, I realized that I am a bit too shy for that line of work, but I have a soft spot for anyone who earns my trust! Though I can be a little cautious- especially around men and children- my curious nature helps me warm up at my own pace. I live for playing fetch and splashing around! I have made a few doggy friends, but I am still holding out for that special bestie. If you have a gentle heart, peaceful home, and a spare tennis ball (or two), I might the companion for you!
