My story

Sassy … here’s a story of how she got her name 😊She knows exactly what to do to manipulate hugs and cuddles from you. First, she will look at you with those puppy dog eyes, then she will inch a little closer to see how effective that puppy dog eye technique was. If you stand your ground, she will coyly look away as if defeated. Of course, by that time, you’re over yourself. You immediately start in a baby voice to let her know what a sweet and good girl she is. That is all Sassy needs. She quickly moves into your space. If you are standing up, she stands to put her paws on your shoulder as if hugging you. If you are sitting down, she comes forward to bump her head in your chest. You are expected to wrap your arms around her neck and whisper sweet nothings in her ears. She will stay there until you gently tell her you need to get up to stretch. Sassy takes that as a ‘come along, let’s stretch together’ 😊And off she goes, trotting along wherever you go. Sassy walks well on a leash. She walks right along, doesn’t pull much. She is wonderful with dogs. Soft interactions with just about all dogs. Sassy plays well with hard toys/chews but give her a stuffy, and she will destroy it in no time! She beats it on the ground, severs the head, remove all the white stuff and continue to annihilate it. Oh, boy. Sassy is a 1-year-old, 80lb Cane Corso. She is looking for a home where she can just hang out with her humans, be included in family activities. She is happy to tag along on adventures, but she is just as content to lay next to you on the couch while you binge your favorite shows. Little humans, dogs are welcome. Sassy is house and crate trained.
