My story

I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Cat Holding 3 (Cat Alley):2 Meet Niblet – A Gentle Boy Ready for His Forever Home Niblet has come a long way. When he first arrived at Oakland Animal Services, he was in rough shape - he had a medical condition that prevented him from being able to eat on his own and was unsure of the world around him. But with time, patience, and lots of love, Niblet has blossomed into a sweet, affectionate companion who's ready to find a quiet, loving home. This soft, shy boy may take a little time to warm up, but once he feels safe, he’ll reward you with gentle head bumps, cozy cuddles, and the kind of companionship that only a cat like Niblet can offer. He thrives in calm, peaceful spaces and would do best with someone who understands the beauty of going slow and letting trust grow naturally. Niblet isn’t looking for a busy household or constant activity—he just wants a soft spot to nap, a gentle hand to pet him, and a human who will cherish him for the sweet, resilient cat he is.
