Meet Edward Scissorpaws4-year-old Ginger Persian | Glow Up in ProgressEdward Scissorpaws has known heartbreak in his short life. This sweet, gentle soul was found wandering alone, his once-beautiful Persian coat tangled and matted beyond recognition. Someone, in a misguided attempt to “help,” had taken kitchen shears to his magnificent fur, leaving him uneven, patchy, and broken. Even worse, they cut away his precious whiskers — vital for a cat’s sense of security and balance — a cruelty no animal should ever endure.But Edward’s spirit remains unbroken. Despite the neglect and pain he’s faced, he chooses love. He greets every human he meets with soft purrs, playful antics, and a heart so full it’s impossible not to fall for him. His transformation has already begun, and it’s clear: Edward Scissorpaws is destined to be a breathtakingly gorgeous Persian once more — inside and out.Edward is proud to be a Charming Pet Rescue “ambassa-pur,” and his higher adoption fee will directly support other cats who are fighting even tougher battles. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it.
