My story

Charlie is a 16-week-old Lab mix and the ultimate snuggle bug! He greets his people with hugs, prefers morning cuddles before getting breakfast, and loves to be carried around like the baby he is. Weighing in at 20 pounds now, this snuggle bug is ready to start the day after his morning pets!Charlie is already crate trained and doing great with house training, having only the occasional accident. He’s getting into a nice routine, like learning to wait politely for his food using a slow feeder bowl and “sit” command—this smart pup catches on fast! Though he may whine briefly when first put in his crate, Charlie quickly settles down and sleeps through the night. He thrives in a home where he can be close to his humans and be the center of attention. Charlie is making new friends fast! He shows curiosity towards other dogs, observing at first and waiting to approach them. He's also very polite toward cats, respecting their boundaries. With kids, Charlie is calm, gentle, and happy to be handled. Charlie loves playing and running around outside! He’s got typical puppy energy, but a daily walk and some playtime are usually enough to keep him content. He loves any heavy duty chew toys too. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant (including registration). Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 150-mile radius of the Twin Cities. However, we will consider up to 250 miles if the foster agrees to travel requirements and staff approval.
