My story

Hi there, I’m Misty. A sweet little 4-month-old, 14 lb Black Mouth Cur mix puppy who was tied up with shoelaces onto a garbage dumpster behind Walmart in San Antonio, Texas. The young man who found me had to cut me free, and the laces were so tight, they left lines across my little legs/paws. I was about 3 months old and 6 lbs, so bless my lucky stars that I am now safe and sound and having some fun playing with all my puppy friends at my foster home, while getting ready to find a forever family. My foster mom says I am a very affectionate little girl who loves to be carried and loved on. I will snuggle beside you whenever possible, otherwise I’m playing and wrestling, and chasing puppy toys, especially the ones that make crinkle sounds. I’m an easy puppy to care for, not too mischievous or rambunctious, and I never bark unless I need to tell you it's mealtime, LOL! I have a medium energy level, and I love all people, other dogs, and kitty cats. I hear many wonderful families on the East Coast would be happy to have a sweet puppy like me, so I can't wait to meet them and get my life started!
