My story

Update 5.11.25 Tyson is a very affectionate and happy dog. He is very playful indoors and can entertain himself with toys, especially balls -- any kind of balls. He loves the chase when he has a ball and will push balls around with his nose and/or give it to you if you're sitting near him. He would do well outside playing fetch in a yard -- he'd love this! He is a little skittish with loud noises and may give a faint "woof" when he hears a loud noise, but he's not really a barker. On walks, he's very gentle and doesn't pull, apart from the occasional random bird who lands close to him. He's very affectionate and will lick you if you want to cuddle with him. He's a huge licker but it's his way of saying he likes you. He's great with meeting strangers and neighbors and while we haven't introduced them directly to children, he does wag his tail and really wants to say hi to little spirits. We think he'd do well if kids are in the house. He is crate trained and quiet in the crate and also potty trained. Although he hasn't been formally introduced to other dogs in the two weeks we've fostered him, we do think he'd do well with a home with other dogs, after a proper introduction. He's just a really sweet-natured, spirited boxer! Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 26, 2025, 9:23 pm
