My story

Basics1.Housetrained? Yes! Had a few potty accidents when I first got him, but since then he only pees and poops outside.2.Experience with dogs? Yes. Lives with two currently, including one small Chihuahua. He`s very gentle with both and wants to play. My resident dogs are older and get a little annoyed, but I think he`d do well in a household with patient pups, especially bigger younger ones who also like to play. Is also playful and gets along well with my Mom`s hyper Aussie. He is good-hearted and never shown any signs of aggression whatsoever. 3.Experience with cats? No, but his gentle nature makes me think he`d also be ok with them. 4.Experience with kids? No, but same as above. Love all humans and is very patient and gentle. Learns `no` easily and wants to please. 5.Details on leash training, crate training and other training commands known: He walks well on a leash, including with my resident dog. He does have some pulling, but it would absolutely be trainable. He knows `sit` and will wait patiently to have his leash and harness put on him. Is learning how to take treats gently, but knows to sit before getting fed. He could learn so much more with proper training! 6.Details on personal history, if known (how did he/she arrive at the shelter): Arrived as a stray, I believe from the Reservation, with distemper. Shows no signs of trauma or resources guarding that I`ve witnessed. Very happy-go-lucky. This Dog’s CharacteristicsPlease provide as much detail as possible. Specific behavior examples/experiences that illustrate their qualities are a big help!1.Describe cuddling behavior/affection level: Velcro dog. Loves to follow me around the house and is somewhat attention seeking. Lives for cuddles, pets, and attention. 2.Describe play behavior and favorite toys: LOVES plushie toys. He loves to carry them around the house and show them off. Can entertain himself throwing his town in the air and catching them. Loves to play fetch. 3.Describe activity level:4.Look into the dog’s eyes. What is he/she telling you? He wants love you forever. 5.What are the best adjectives to describe this dog? Happy-go-lucky, playful, loyal, goofy, adoring, heart-of-gold6.What does the dog specifically DO that exemplifies those adjectives (ex. Maybe a good adjective for the dog is “loving”. You know that because he lays his head in your lap.) Wants to cuddle up right beside you, always observing and trying to learn how to
