My story

?? Dragon Fruit – Professional goofball with the Heart of Gold ??Hey Tucson! Say hello to Dragon Fruit — a goofy, affectionate distemper survivor who’s ready to leave the past behind and start his next great adventure with his forever family. This brave little guy has already beaten the odds, surviving a near-fatal illness and life as a stray in the harsh desert. But honestly? You’d never know. Despite everything he’s been through, Dragon Fruit radiates joy, kindness, and a whole lot of silliness wherever he goes.Does he have a quirky little twitch from distemper? Yep. Is it charming as heck? Absolutely. This boy’s got moves to swoon you on Salsa night. And it doesn’t slow him down one bit — he runs, plays, hikes, and cuddles like an absolute champ.Dragon Fruit is:?? Totally potty trained (Still mastering the leg lift, but making great progress!)?? A team player with other dogs — even his cranky senior Chihuahua foster brother?? Gentle and patient, but also spunky and playful?????Great on leash (Still pulls a little, but trainable)?? Kid-untested, but his sweet disposition suggests he`d do well with patient, older childrenThis boy has made it through the hard part — now he’s ready for the good life: belly rubs, long walks, hiking adventures, couch naps, and someone to love him as unconditionally as he will in return.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt DRAGONFRUIT*, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
