He's social, affectionate, and thrives on attention. Potcake mixes are known for being loyal, sensitive, and deeply grateful companions—and Simba is no exception. He wins hearts wherever he goes! Good with kids Good with other dogs (likes his space during meals) Not good with cats Not a barker‍ Medium-high energy & loves outdoor adventures Ideal HomeSimba would thrive with an active individual or family—bonus points if there’s another playful dog! He’s agile and adventurous, perfect for hikes, walks, and runs. While apartment life isn’t ideal unless he gets daily exercise, he’s calm when left alone and does well indoors after activity. Sleeps inside his kennel Not anxious or destructive Rescue StorySimba was rescued as a tiny pup with his mom and siblings from a dangerous area in Guadalajara. Sadly, some of the puppies disappeared before help arrived. After being rescued, Simba endured mistreatment at a foster home before being moved to a safe boarding facility in December 2023. He’s come a long way and is more than ready for the love and safety of a forever home. Currently in Mexico, Simba is waiting for a committed trial adopter to bring him to the Pacific Northwest.
