My story

Pickled A17408735 lb. spayed female, approx 7 months old -Slightly timid baby. Loud noises and quick movements make her nervous.-She gets occasional zoomies-She’s silly and fun-Loves to be close for pets-Gives some kisses-She likes treats and takes them nicely. She sits on occasion, but usually when you ask her to sit she acts like she’s in trouble and lays down and cowers. Poor baby needs patience and love to start to feel safe and comfortable.-Not currently playing with toys-She’s very wiggly and bouncy on leash and needs practice still. Just puppy stuff.-Will need some puppy training. Please keep that in mind if you want a puppy. They require time and patience to be the best that they can be! -Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper introsUnknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids•Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-3:30 BUT our adoptions are done 7 days a week from 10:30am -3:00pm. •The last potential adopter must arrive before 3:00 pm so we have time to properly help you before closing. **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
