DOB: 4/23/2021 "That’s not an opossum, it’s a cat!" We get that a lot—because Opossum, our shy little lady, has a bit of a startled, wide-eyed look and a tendency to freeze when she’s unsure. That’s probably because she was left behind at an apartment complex, fending for herself and unsure who to trust. Opossum is nervous in new places and still figuring out that she’s safe now. She’s quiet, gentle, and trying her best to be brave. Behind those big, cautious eyes is a heart that truly wants to trust again—she just needs a calm, loving home where she can come out of hiding at her own pace. If you’re the kind of person who sees beauty in the quiet ones and knows how to speak the language of patience and kindness, Opossum might be your perfect match. She’s not a marsupial, but she is 100% deserving of love. Come meet me at the cage-free Adoption Center! All cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and tested for FIV/FeLV. **If interested in adopting me, please fill out an online adoption application at https://colonycats.org/adoption_app.html to expedite the process. Due to the large number of inquiries received, we are unable to respond to emails quickly.**April 29, 2025, 4:51 pm
