Meet Ryder – Your Goofy, Hug-Loving Sidekick! 🐾 At 8 months old and 54 (as of 5/15) pounds, Ryder is a shepherd mix pup bursting with curiosity, charm, and affection. With his long legs (that he’s still figuring out!), clumsy puppy energy, and soulful eyes, this sweet boy is equal parts goofball and cuddlebug. Ryder is a total love sponge—his signature move is wrapping his front legs around you in a full-on hug while burying his head in your belly. Whether you’re doing dishes or just standing nearby, he’s always ready to snuggle. This energetic guy lives for walks, playtime, and exploring the world one sniff at a time. He’s especially fond of sticks and loves a good game of tug-of-war. While he’s still learning leash manners, he’s eager and food-motivated, making training a breeze for anyone willing to work with a young pup. Ryder is great with other dogs and curious—but respectful—around cats. He’s crate trained, house trained, not a big barker, and has shown no signs of resource guarding. While he's still working on commands like "sit" and "come," he’s a fast learner with a heart of gold. This sweet, lanky boy would thrive in an active home that can offer him love, structure, and a bit of patience as he continues to grow into those long legs and big personality.
