You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Toby was originally adopted from our shelter over 7 years ago when he was under a year old. He is now 8 years old and is a large, handsome hound mix. He was returned as he was having a pretty consistent personality conflict with the other large male dog in the home. It happens - we can't all get along with everyone. Toby was well loved and well cared for. He is completely vetted and his fee is $125. Toby is looking for a somewhat quiet and calm home in which he won't be left alone a lot. He would love a large fenced area in which to bop around. As a hound mix he can be a bit stubborn and vocal when the situation calls for it. He did live with other dogs but might prefer to be the only dog in the home at this point in his life. He did live with cats and was fine with that. He has received basic training and is pretty well mannered. NOTE:  Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South.
