Darla the Doxie mix

My story

Apply to Adopt Me! Meet Darla the Doxie mix. This sweet girl was saved from a shelter in rural Georgia just before she was set to be euthanized. Thank goodness because she has so much life in her and love to give. Darla is around 1 year old and weighs 17lbs. Although she is not one for smiling for the camera, she is always happy and eager to show that happiness with lots of tail wags. Darla gets along great with all people, other dogs and with cats. She is house trained, crate trained, walks well on a leash, crate trained, rides well in a car, and is a low barker. She is always ready for love and pets (especially belly rubs), and wants to be right by your side. She enjoys playing with other dogs, and with stuffies and chew bones. This girl is a gem and any active family would be so lucky to be blessed with her giving spirit. We would love for her to have a fenced yard, or a family who can take her on at least two daily walks. She would love to have a playful fur sibling.
