Meet Stout! He’s a super sweet pup looking for his forever home. He’s learning that new things aren’t so scary and he picks things up quickly. His canine foster sister helps by showing him how to do things, like stairs, and he follows her lead. Stout would do best in a home with at least one other dog. His likes include getting pets and scratches, stealing his foster sister’s favorite squeaky toy, sniffing in the yard, and treats. Stout is shy with new people, but it’s nothing a few treats can’t fix. And at a sturdy 42 lbs, he’s built to romp in your securely fenced yard. Stout was found as a stray with his sister and brought to a rural shelter. The rural shelter reports that Stout is great with kids. If you are looking for the next member of your pack, consider Stout! He’s guaranteed to make you smile with his floppy ears and hound yodels. Stout is eager to find his forever home and longs for a home with another dog.
