He’s a super sweet pup looking for his forever home. He’s learning that new things aren’t so scary and he picks things up quickly. His canine foster sister helps by showing him how to do things, like stairs, and he follows her lead. Stout would do best in a home with at least one other dog. His likes include getting pets and scratches, stealing his foster sister’s favorite squeaky toy, sniffing in the yard, and treats. Stout is FANTASTIC in the car, he's a pro. He just curls up and goes right to sleep, no whining, barking, or carsickness. He is a such a sweet pup and will come right up to you for gentle kisses. He is affectionately known to "sit like a human," and stare into your soul. He's a very inquisitive and observant dog and loves to hangout with his people. Stout is shy with new people, but it’s nothing a few treats can’t fix. Stout was found as a stray with his sister and brought to a rural shelter. The rural shelter reports that Stout is great with kids. If you are looking for the next member of your pack, consider Stout! He’s guaranteed to make you smile with his floppy ears. Stout is eager to find his forever home, could that be with you?
