My story

Say hello to Gypsy, a sweet and soulful senior girl with a gentle spirit and eyes full of wisdom. Life hasn’t always been easy for Gypsy—she’s had her share of bumps in the road—but she hasn’t let that dim her light. Gypsy is now safe and patiently waiting for a forever home where she can finally exhale and be loved the way she deserves. After the death of her owner, a nice family took very good care of her. They want nothing more than Gypsy to find a loving home. Now that Gypsy is in a foster home, we have learned so much about her. `Gypsy is adjusting very well. She has started to wag her tail and calmly greet us when we go into her room to see her. She is eating most of her meals, but she tends to graze and save some for later. She is eating a healthy amount of treats. She has had no accidents in the home. She saves her business for the outdoors. Gypsy`s been sleeping in her own room on the floor with a dog bed. The crate is in the room with the door open. I have some items in the room that she has not chewed on or even messed with once. She seems very happy to just rest/sleep, go outside for a few minutes, and eat. Walks very well on the leash. She hasn’t barked once.` Let `s continue the good life for Gypsy! She lived with other dogs in her previous home. Gypsy joins playgroups and the shelter and would need to meet any potential dogs prior to going home. She has been spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. Gypsy is living in a foster home where we are learning more about her. To meet her please email foster@kcpetproject.org.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Gypsy, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
