My story

Introducing Esther! She was brought to the shelter on 4/17 because she was on a journey to find her way home. Esther is approx. a year old and weighs a mere 46lbs. The volunteers describe her as beautiful, gentle, sweet, cute, and obedient. She is just a tad shy and that is understandable because she is in a scary, loud place. The more the the volunteers spend time with her and help build her confidence, she will be the social butterfly that we know she can be! She is a smart cookie as she knows how to sit when asked and she is very gentle on leash. She was delighted when a volunteer came to visit her and brought her a toy to play with and some yummy treats! Please take some time and visit with her in Run 828; her ID is 9446. She is waiting for you! Please help her find her way out of the shelter and into your heart, home and family. Esther is current on vaccines, will be spayed and microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. Please take some time and schedule to meet this awesome kiddo and get to know her a little better. Esther is probably what you have been looking for all this time. She is patiently waiting for her forever family to save her life. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heart worm or combo test and a microchip.
