My story

Truman is an initially shy, but curious, friendly and affectionate boy. In shelter, he initially preferred to be by himself, then [re]acquainted himself with some of his cat friends. He is gentle and not the dominating type, he much prefers a high perch to observe his surroundings, a warm bed to snooze the day away in, and to keep the peace amongst his cohort even if it means standing down to an alpha-type. He is used to the presence of other cats, and keeps the peace with them even when they are not so considerate of him. As he has adjusted to the shelter, his willingness to build bonds with humans has greatly improved, he will walk up to you and receive your pets and physical affection, likely will grow into a snuggly lap cat in the comfort of a calm, inviting home. He is not particularly food or treat-oriented, preferring to relax and snooze, but he does enjoy playing with his trusted companions. He can be seen bunting his head against his feline friends and playing with them, when he isn't sleeping in a warm bed or on a windowsill. He does well with feline friends, may warm up to a respectful/calm dog, and would be okay with older/respectful children.
