Sapphire

My story

Location: Jordan, MN Sapphire is a big sweetheart. She loves to play with her toys, go on walks, and really loves food. She does great on a leash. She however does not like her kennel, so a reinforced one is best for her. She is great with all adults and children and gives great slobbery kisses with her big tongue. We also found out very quickly that she is a great jumper, and can gracefully jump over our baby gates. But she does not jump over our 4 foot fence in our yard. She is currently around cats and other dogs. She and the cats tolerate each other, but definitely are not friends. The dogs and sapphire are ok unless toys and food are involved, then she gets very protective of it. She'd be great in an only dog household, but with training could probably do good with other dogs. She does not however have any food and toy aggression with humans. The girl has a big smile and a big heart and is just waiting for a family to love. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
