My story

Pinwheel is a sweet and spirited 3½-year-old mixed-breed girl who came to Paws Humane Society on April 24, 2025, after being found as a stray with her six precious puppies. At first, she was fiercely protective of her little ones and kept her distance—but who could blame her? She was just being a good mama. With time, love, and a lot of treats, Pinwheel has blossomed into one of the most affectionate pups we’ve had the pleasure of knowing. Now, she greets everyone with a full-body wiggle and the kind of smile that lights up the room. Whether you're a new face or a familiar friend, Pinwheel’s excitement is contagious—she can’t wait to share her joy with you. Pinwheel is medium-sized, but her heart is huge.
