Taffy

My story

This cutie is Taffy and he is an approximately 3-4year old, 12lb Yorkie that is one of the sweetest dogs ever! Taffy came from a very sad situation where he was rescued from living in a crammed cage 24/7 with another dog (been adopted). Thankfully, a neighbor got the owners to surrender the dogs to her where she then asked if we could take them into our foundation and we said yes! We got them immediately to our vet where they came so dirty, matted, no vaccines, and not neutered. Taffy is such a love bug who wants nothing more than the company and love of his human. He is a dog that just wants the love and companionship of people. He's not really interested in other dogs, but is ok with them. Taffy would probably love it if he was your one and only! He needs a patient and loving home that will be ok with him getting settled into his new environment. He had a horrible life before coming to us and is still learning what real love is. He is anxious in a car and is very vocal, but with practice he will soon learn that it is ok and a good thing. Taffy is a total homebody and needs a forever home where his owners are home most of the day. A home with a safe and secure yard would be ideal as he will get the hang of potty training sooner. Taffy is such a great dog with a calm and loving personality and we know his forever home is out there! Taffy is neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated.
