My story

Meet Bailey!Hi, I’m Bailey — a 5-year-old German Shepherd mix with 60 pounds of love to give! My favorite things in the world are my ball, zoomies around the yard, and a good game of “catch me if you can!” I may be shy at first, but once I get to know you, I’ll shower you with affection and loyalty.Unfortunately, my previous family left me behind, but my amazing foster mom has helped me heal and find joy again. I’m now healthy, safe, and ready for a forever family who will love me for the rest of my days.I’m spayed, microchipped, house and crate trained, and up to date on all my vaccines and preventatives. I’m also a polite houseguest — I don’t get on the furniture!I’m a great mix of playful and chill. I’ll match your energy — whether that’s going for walks and hikes or just lounging around the house. I get along well with other dogs and love to share my toys. I’ve been respectful around cats too (just need a few sniffs first), and I’m gentle with kids.My dream home? One with patient people who will give me the time and love I need to come out of my shell. I’d love to have a doggy friend to help boost my confidence too. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it.
