What my friends at ACC say about me:Clarity is an adult cat that may not have had many interactions with humans from an early age. Clarity may take a moment to warm up but interacts with the observer and appreciates attention, and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for cat parents with some experience that have been heavily counseled or have an understanding of adult cat socialization and fearful cats.I have medical needs that staff will address with you when you meet me.I can go home today!I am a sweet, social, older gentleman, looking for the perfect forever home!A volunteer writes: Clarity's a cat's cat, meaning he will watch us try to play with him and though he hasn't really joined in yet, he cheers us on. This is absolutely as charming as it sounds. Clarity gently watches our laser pointers and cat dancers, but one of his favorite things at the moment is his traffic cone orange kitty tent. Clarity, a cat who wants to make no splashes, snuggles up in his highlighter colored bed like the absolute accepting sweetheart he is and will allow some pets. I just admire Clarity. Here he is, in this brand new place and though I'm sure he'd like to understand all the details, he doesn't but he still seems set on making the shelter a home for himself, however temporary it may be. I've watched Clarity try again and again to do this and with some support and help from us, he's been making his way slowly but surely. Clarity was abandoned in a building with many other cats and it's possible that he hasn't had many opportunities to meet new people, but he's still hoping to meet you.
