🌙 Sweet Luna – A Gentle Soul Searching for Safety & Love 🐾She is a 6-month-old, 37-pound spayed female Pitbull mix with a heart as tender as her name suggests. She was surrendered to the shelter due to apartment restrictions—not for any fault of her own. Luna has lived with other dogs and children, and she’s also housebroken, which gives her a great head start on home life. Right now, Luna is adjusting to her new surroundings, and it’s clear she’s feeling a bit overwhelmed. She’s a friendly girl, though—if you speak softly and kindly, she’ll slowly make her way over to you, tail low but hopeful. She’s just a little scared, and who could blame her? Luna walks well on leash most of the time, but if she gets nervous or unsure about a new area, she may stop, pull backward, or even try to avoid the walk altogether. She’s not being stubborn—she’s just scared. With gentle encouragement, patience, and consistency, we know she’ll gain confidence in time. She even allowed a gentle carry when needed—proof of her trust once she feels safe. This girl isn’t looking for perfection. She’s looking for someone who will be patient with her, build her confidence slowly, and let her know that the world isn’t such a scary place when you’re with the right person.
