This timid little guy is still getting used to the idea that humans can be safe and kind, and he’s making slow but steady progress with each new interaction.While Harley is hesitant with people at first, he finds comfort and reassurance in the company of other dogs. A calm, confident canine friend in the home may be just what he needs to help him come out of his shell and start exploring the world more confidently.He’s a quiet, gentle pup with a soft presence and a lot of potential. With time, patience, and love, Harley will learn to trust and feel at home in a nurturing environment. He’s not the kind of dog who rushes into your lap—but once he feels safe, he just might decide it’s his favorite place to be.If you’re looking for a pup to grow with and help guide through a journey of trust and healing, Harley is ready to take that journey with you.Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog’s individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with time and a gentle approach, most of these dogs adapt quickly.
