My story

Meet Bella Rose! While she’s been a little shy at the shelter, her previous family says she loves attention and plenty of lap time. Bella Rose is a very friendly and talkative cat who absolutely loves to be near her people. Once she warms up she’s quick to show her playful side—especially if you bring out a wand toy! She did great with the older kids in her previous home and has lived happily with other cats, including her buddies Indy and Nena, who are also available for adoption. If you're looking for a cat who’ll be your cozy cuddle buddy and a fun playmate too, Bella Rose might be the one to make your home feel whole. Come meet this lovely lady! Change is hard for this cat. This cat will be very nervous when you first bring them home. You will need to set up a room with a litter box, food, and water. It will take days for this cat to become comfortable and confident in the new home. This cat will be going home with a behavior plan that will need to be followed in order for everyone to transition successfully. We are often on the line with another client, but we return voice mail and emails within 24 hours. All cat adoption fees include; -spay/neuter -rabies vaccine -current distemper vaccines (may need additional boosters with your veterinarian) -FeLV/FIV blood test -microchip implanted & registered to the adopter -treatment of fleas/ticks/ear mites -veterinary exam and health certificate at Dakin -free vet exam within 30 days after adoption with participating veterinarians Most pets have also received other medical care while with us. Your veterinarian may recommend additional health care for your new pet.
