My story

Hi there! My name is Columbia! I’m a sweet and gentle girl who might be a little shy at first, but once I warm up, I’m your loyal shadow and cuddle buddy!A typical day for me starts with waking up and heading outside for a bathroom break, followed by some playtime and a walk to stretch my legs and explore. After I’ve burned off some energy, I enjoy a tasty breakfast before settling in for a cozy nap.I spend my days playing and cuddling with my dog buddy — having a canine friend nearby makes me feel safe and happy. I’m crate trained and do well with crate time when needed. Evenings are full of walks, play, treats, tricks, and cuddles before bed.I love lounging on the couch and watching ducks in the pond outside. My silly floppy ears and cute expressions always bring smiles!I get along great with dogs, cats, and kids. I know sit and am housetrained on a schedule. I’d do best in a home with another confident dog to keep me company and help me feel secure as I continue to grow.If you want a gentle, loving pup to share your days with, I might be the one!Love, Columbia🐾--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions.
