My story

Meet Mochi – A Stunning boy Ready for His Forever Home! Adoption Fee: $549 Adoption Application - Copy & Paste https://forms.gle/FmtRtYxQNnemdkdw9 Mochi is a breathtakingly beautiful 2-year-old wire hair terrier/Shepherd mix with a heart full of potential. Rescued from a neglectful situation, this gentle giant is now searching for an adopter who can provide the patience, structure, and love he deserves. Mochi is house-trained and crate-trained, but he does experience some anxiety, which is why he needs a dog-savvy adopter—someone familiar with large, intelligent breeds who can guide him through training and help him build confidence. With the right leadership, Mochi will thrive. Because of his size, we recommend a home with children 10 and up, as he could unintentionally knock over little ones. Mochi would do best in an active home—whether it’s with an energetic couple or a family who loves outdoor adventures. The more exercise and engagement he gets, the happier he’ll be! Mochi currently weighs 68lbs. If you have experience with large breeds and are willing to invest time and love into this incredible dog, Mochi will reward you with unwavering loyalty and companionship. He’s truly worth the effort—are you the perfect match for him? Apply today to give Mochi the forever home he’s been waiting for! Here's the adoption application, please copy & paste. https://forms.gle/FmtRtYxQNnemdkdw9 **To see all of our pets available for adoption, please copy this link. https://www.petfinder.com/search/pets-for-adoption/?shelter_id%5B0%5D=AL450&sort%5B0%5D=recently_added Paws of Dixie Animal Rescue adopts in the New England area. Our adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, up to date shots, Microchip, Alabama Health Certificate, and the transport service to get the new family pet to you. The pets are delivered by a licensed transporter. PDAR.info@gmail.com COMPLETED APPLICATIONS TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER INQUIRIES. If you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application. Please be advised that our volunteers are busy rescuing, transporting, and caring for our animals. We will respond to your application as soon as possible. Upon review of your application, the rescue in AL will contact you, so you can ask any specific questions that you may have. NOTE: All Paws of Dixie animals are located in AL foster homes. They will be transported north after adoption. If there is more than one decision maker in the home, all of them should be in agreement. We DO NOT adopt to anyone under the age of 21

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Mochi, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
