My story

Dove is a 62-pound bundle of love with a gorgeous white coat sprinkled with little brown spots. She’s as sweet as she is adorable and looking for her forever home. Personality & Preferences: Dove absolutely thrives on love and attention—whether it's from people or other dogs! She adores snuggles, belly rubs, kisses, treats, and splashing around in water. She's got a moderate energy level—always up for a good play session, but just as happy to snooze beside you all day. Well-Mannered & Friendly: * Gets along great with dogs, cats, children, strangers, and even reptiles * Fully potty trained and crate trained (a little whining from separation anxiety, but a Kong or calming chew works wonders) * Excellent with baths and nail trims * Walks nicely on a leash and listens well off-leash * Doesn’t get into the trash or have accidents when left out * Occasionally carries shoes around but never chews them What She’s Looking For: Dove is searching for a loving family that simply wants to spend time with her. She’s not a fan of car rides (gets carsick) and can be overwhelmed in busy public places, but at home, she’s the easiest, most affectionate companion you could ask for. She truly just wants to be near her people. Ideal Home: Dove would thrive in a family setting—especially one with other dogs or cats, as they give her confidence and joy. A yard would be great, but she’d also do well in an apartment with regular walks. She’s still learning her manners and a few tricks (a bit stubborn, but eager), and she instantly falls in love with every person or animal she meets. Dove is the definition of a gentle soul, and all she wants is to be someone’s beloved lap dog. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and easy-going pup to join your family, Dove might just be your perfect match. 💕
