My story

Hi there, I’m Kara! 🐾 I am a sweet, cute little girl. Okay, so here’s the deal—I’m a little shy. Like, "peeking at you from behind my doggy friend" kind of shy. But I promise I’m working on it! I came from a place with lots (and I mean LOTS) of other dogs, so I didn’t get to learn how awesome people can be. But guess what? I’m starting to figure it out—love and treats definitely help. I have definitely been getting a LOT of both! 🐶💕-- I love other dogs. Big ones, small ones, goofy ones—I don’t care. If they’ve got four legs and a waggy tail, I want to be their BFF. I follow my doggy foster sibling everywhere, and that is helping me be brave. I’d be happiest in a home with a confident dog buddy to show me the ropes!-- I’m super proud to say I’m house trained (as long as we stick to a schedule), I only chew on toys and an occasional shoe is fun (furniture? ew, no thanks). -- I love my kennel—it’s my little cozy den when I need to feel safe.-- Leash walking? I’m learning! It’s a bit weird, but I’m giving it my best shot and improving every single day. I have come a long way in just a few short days. Every day I get a little braver, a little sillier, and a little more excited about this whole “being a loved pup” thing. If you’ve got love, kindness, and maybe a treat or two in your pocket, I will be your new best friend. 💖Love,Kara 🐕✨--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions.
