My story

Hello, I’m Kane! I’m a sweet and reserved young pup. My two sisters and one brother were living in a difficult situation, but we were fortunate enough to find our way to a rescue in Alabama. We eventually found foster homes here in Minnesota, and we all took the freedom ride together. Now, I’m in a foster home, looking for a loving family to call my own.Being in a house is new to me. My foster mom takes me outside on a schedule, and I’m a smart boy who’s eager to please. My foster mom is confident that I’ll master potty training soon and won’t need a strict schedule for long.I can be a bit shy when trying new things, but I follow the lead of the resident dog here or seek extra encouragement from my foster family. After each new experience, I find it easier. For instance, during the last two car rides, my foster mom had to lift me out of the car tonight, but I happily jumped out on my own, following the resident dog. I enjoy car rides and lie down comfortably. So far, my favorite time of the day is mealtime. I absolutely love eating! And I’m thrilled to receive treats for being a good boy. I love chewing on bully sticks or Yak chews and playing with dog toys, especially the ones that squeak or roll. After playing, I love nothing more than to snuggle up and take a nap. I find a spot to rest my head, whether it’s on your arm or leg, and I’m out.I absolutely adore tummy rubs. When I’m happy, I lay on my back and roll around. I genuinely am the sweetest boy.I’m working on going into my crate when asked and receiving a treat for doing so. I go into my crate when my foster family is away from the house and sleep in it overnight.I can’t wait to meet you! You can either submit an application to show interest in meeting me one-on-one or attend an adoption event to meet me in person.Until we meet,XOXO❤️❤️Kane--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.Adoption Fee - $400To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Kane, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
