My story

Meet Linguini! Linguini became a Frosted Face when we rescued him from Orange County Animal Care in May 2023. A month later, Linguini went home with his wonderful new mom! In the nearly two years that followed, Linguini and his mom were two peas in a pod, and we couldn't have wished for a better home for this sweet boy. Sadly, his mom's health declined, and she became unable to care for Linguini or herself. We always take our dogs back, and Linguini returned to us on April 23, 2025. Within hours, a wonderful previous adopter/dedicated volunteer arrived to foster him! We are so grateful that Linguini's transition has been eased by being in the comfort of a loving home. With a little help from his Foster Mom, Linguini shared this update: Hi, I’m Linguini! But my foster mom calls me Noodle 🍝😜 I’ve been living the good life in my foster home for 6 weeks now, and while I miss my nice lady who adopted me, I’m keeping my heart open and my tail waggy while I search for my forever fam. Now let’s get into the noodly details: I’m a 12-year-old, 15lb Poodle-Lhasa-ish mix — with a twist of Shih Tzu, a sprinkle of Pom, a pinch of Cocker, and a whole lotta Supermutt spice. At the risk of sounding immodest, here’s what makes me a catch: 🍝 Sleep Pro – Bed, couch, floor, your freshly folded laundry… I’m napping like it’s the Olympics. 🍝 Independent Vibes – I don’t need a shadow! While you are out working, I chill. Nanny cam confirms: I’m just snoozin’. 🍝 Strong, Silent Type – No barking. Just the occasional soft grumble, like a gentle old man narrating his dreams. 🍝 Nature Guy – Walks? Yes. Sunbathing? Absolutely. Outdoor naps? A must. 🍝 Car King – I ride like a royal. You drive, I vibe. Roadtrips ✔️ 🍝 Social Butterfly – I coexist peacefully with cats, dogs, and even my current foster sis, who is a blind, deaf, bowling-ball-bulldozing Shih Tzu. Nothing fazes me. She squishes me with cuddles and I take it all in stride. 🍝 Food Enthusiast – I love food so much, I’m pretty sure I was pasta in a past life. Some Honest Confessions: 😅 I pee a lot, BUT I rock a belly band like it’s high fashion, and my foster mom has a whole collection ready to go home with me! 🧀 I take seizure meds (Keppra) every 8 hours, wrapped in cream cheese like a little dairy burrito. Easy peasy. So that’s me: a quirky, sweet, slightly leaky senior gent with soft fur, a big heart, and a whole lotta love left to give. Wanna meet the best little Noodle this side of the spaghetti aisle? 🍝❤️ Email placement@frostedfacesfoundation.org.
