My story

Little Miss April wants nothing more than a loving, forever family to help her forget when she was fending for herself on Durham's streets. April once had a home, as her prior humans spayed and microchipped her, but somehow she ended up abandoned outside. Heartbreakingly, her former humans never answered when they were contacted after her microchip was scanned. But sweet April never gave up on people, and a kind community member began feeding her, leading to this lucky kitty being accepted into IAR's foster program. April's foster mom reports that she's a polite and affectionate angel, and thinks she could live with other cats, kids, and maybe even dogs. She's very trusting, and enjoys curling up on soft blankets to doze and watch the world go by around her.
