My story

**DUE TO HER MEDICAL ISSUES WE REQUIRE VET REFERENCES** Trixie is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel estimated to be 7 years old and weighs 15 lbs. Despite her tough past, Trixie is gentle, loving, calm, and adores being close to her humans—whether she’s following you from room to room or curled up beside you on the couch. She even shows her happiness with the cutest belly wiggle! Trixie gets along great with the dogs in her foster home and enjoys exploring the yard and guarding the house with them. Trixie gets anxious and cries when left alone, so she would thrive in a home with another small dog for company and a family who can shower her with love. She is very food motivated and mealtime is her favorite part of the day. Trixie has made amazing progress healing in rescue. She’s had a dental, was spayed, and takes daily medication for a low-grade heart murmur that she will need to continue for the rest of her life. This condition is common for her breed and age. Trixie is also currently heartworm positive and undergoing treatment. K9 Angels will continue to support her through this. If you’re looking for a loyal, snuggly companion, Trixie is your girl!
