My story

Hi, I’m Azula! I recently went on a big adventure to The Battery, and wow—it was full of new sights, sounds, and people! I did awesome, if I do say so myself. I walked politely on leash, met lots of friendly adults, and soaked up all the love and pets I could get. I always take care of business outside, and I even showed off my best “sit” when asked—because yes, I’m a good girl like that.I’m a sweet, chill companion who’s more of a couch potato than a marathon runner. After our walk, my favorite thing was curling up on the couch and relaxing. I’m gentle when I play (my tug-of-war game is all fun, no teeth!), and I’ve got a soft, wiggly way of saying hi to people.Now, I’ll be honest—when I see kids or other dogs, I get a little excited. With kids running around, I tend to pull on the leash and get a bit hyper. I didn’t bark or lunge, but I was definitely on alert. Same goes for dogs—I get curious and will pull when I spot them, especially smaller ones. But I’ve lived with another dog before, and with the right intro, I could probably do well with a calm, larger dog buddy.I might not be the best fit for homes with small kids or cats (I’ve got a little chase instinct!), but I’m a total sweetheart who thrives in calm, cozy environments.
