My story

Meet Mellie! This sweet young lady is finally getting the rest she deserves—and wow, is she good at it. After leaving the shelter for foster care, Mellie has been soaking up all the peace and quiet a loving home has to offer. Her foster family describes her as easy, gentle, and an absolute dream to have around.She appears potty trained, sleeps through the night without a peep, and even voluntarily chills in her crate (though she really doesn’t need one). Mellie loves a calm environment and has been coexisting wonderfully with her foster brothers after a thoughtful introduction. She`s not much of a roughhouser—more of a lounge-around kind of girl—but might open up more as she decompresses.Whether she`s curled up for a nap or following you around the house, Mellie is just happy to be near you. She`s ready to be someone`s quiet companion, loyal shadow, and couch buddy for life.
