My story

🐾 Meet Dougey – A True Survivor with a Heart of Gold! 🐾 Dougey was found wandering the streets of Beckley, WV, alone and scared. He’d been seen by several good Samaritans who tried to help, but with no microchip, tags, or owners coming forward, he found himself in need of a second chance. Based on his initial fearfulness, it’s likely Dougey didn’t have the easiest start in life – but those days are far behind him now. Since being taken in by his loving finders, Dougey has discovered a whole new world. He’s learned what it means to be safe, loved, and part of a family. Toys, belly rubs, treats, and companionship were all new to him – and now, he can’t get enough! Dougey is: ✔️ Crate trained ✔️ Potty trained ✔️ Friendly with dogs, cats, and people ✔️ A total lovebug who wants nothing more than to be by your side He’s eager to please and has a sweet, gentle spirit that shines now that he knows he's safe.
