My story

What my friends at ACC say about me:Stone was resting quietly on top of the den, partially asleep, but woke up when approached. She accepted petting around the cheek and head, appearing to appreciate it, but when petted gently along her back, she gave a loud stress meow. When a second attempt was made to gently touch her back, she gave another stressful meow, and then the assessor left her alone. She's a sweet cat who may have some issues with having parts of her body touched or petted.Stone interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting except on the back. We recommend that she go to a home with some cat experience preferred and be well counseled in petting induced aggression and sensitivity to certain types of handling.
