Meet Ilene!Ilene is a sweet 7-year-old lady dog who enjoys carrying around her favorite ball and has a playful side! She’s always eager to grab the ball quickly and loves to engage with it. Though she’s a bit anxious during new situations, she is gentle and will need time to settle into her new home. Ilene is friendly with handlers, enjoys chest pets, and has a calm, affectionate presence once she’s comfortable. She’s a little sensitive to her rear end, so gentle handling and patience are key, especially with her hips. She would thrive in a calm environment with understanding adopters who can help her adjust at her own pace. Ilene may enjoy the company of other dogs with a similar energy level, and she’s sure to bond deeply with her family.
