Rowan

My story

Rowan is a goofy, adorable and curious puppy looking for an active forever home. He was born around 2/8 and looks to be a lovely mix of Vizla/lab etc... we think he will be a larger medium sized dog when full grown. He loves other dogs and almost all people.  He enjoys car rides, exploring new forest preserves and being the center of attention. He is very smart and  quick to learn new commands. He gets along well with his older foster brother and loves wrestling and playing tug of war.  When not annoying his foster brother, Rowan enjoys playing fetch (although sometimes his puppy ADD kicks in and the game ends quickly)  But Rowan is also the best of both worlds because he loves to snuggle with his humans just as much as he loves to play. Rowan starts and ends every day with his very unique and dramatic long yawns. He will do best with an active family and if there is another dog make sure that dog wants to play! The adoption fee of $550 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Although we do our best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we can not and will not make any guarantee on breed or size. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED!
