Myrtle

My story

10 year old about 20 lbs a great medium sized mix.  She loves people but can be a little reserved at first meeting. She is crate trained and house trained. Spent the last few weeks recovering on the couch. She walks well on leash.  Her story- Myrtle has been in rescue since early February. She was a stray that found her way to animal control in heat. A very long heat cycle. Finally, at 10 years old, she got spayed. OF course that was not before getting Hydrometra and a few mammary tumors, both of which could have been avoided if someone loved her enough to get her spayed. She also got a dental with multiple teeth extractions. Myrtle is feeling like a whole new dog! She is good with the cats, but grumpy around some of the dogs she has met while in foster care, being in heat for so long, I don't blame her. I recommend having her meet any potential house mates.  She still has great energy for an older girl.
