My story

Own Your Very Own Bobcat!! Just kidding. Well.... Kind of. Bobcat is literally the first set of words that come out of everyone's mouth when they meet this gentle giant.  Hendrix and Leroy found themselves at Paws after their mom was moved to hospice. Family members were unable to take them in, but we are positive they will find furever homes quickly. Hendrix was a mighty hunter when he was a young indoor/outdoor kitty. Earned his keep delivering mice and snakes to the doorstep. Okay, that is NOT likely a selling point LOL. But its OK because he has been city-fied and is now strictly an indoor cat. BUT - if you live in the country and tend to have a sneaky mouse or snake that somehow finds their way into the house - Never fear; Hendrix is here!! This kid has a head the size of a softball and it doesn't look large on his body. This boy weighs in just a couple ounces shy of 20 pounds!!! Overall, he's the typical cat. He lays in any sunny spot and flicks his tail. Likely dreaming about his days as a hunter.  He chooses cuddle time and will displace others to snuggle for his allocated lovey time and then be gone. He loves little squeaky toys and thinks he is still hunting. He is slower to warm up than his housemate Leroy, but then just as big a sweetheart. He will hide when new animals enter his space or when put in a new space of his own, so expect him to take a little time to start exploring the house and mayb give him a space of his own for a bit to help him adjust. If you have room for this mini bobcat and maybe his buddy Leroy (who isn't much smaller), get an application in! ##2370169##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Hendrix, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
