My story

Meet Onyx Onyx is a truly special boy with a big heart and an even bigger spirit. Though his back end doesn’t quite work like a typical cat’s, it doesn’t slow him down one bit—he’s full of love, playfulness, and resilience. He occasionally slips and slides, and when he gets really excited or plays a little too hard, he may have some trouble with bladder control. To help manage this, he’s been introduced to diapers and is doing great with them! Onyx currently takes a small dose of steroids daily to every other day while his ideal balance is still being figured out, and he thrives on a grain-free diet. His future family will need to continue this care, but in return, they’ll get a cat whose love is as deep as his purrs. He’s a laser pointer fanatic—seriously, he’ll chase that red dot as long as your arm can handle it! And when the fun winds down, Onyx becomes the ultimate cuddle buddy, melting into your arms for a long, cozy nap. He gets along wonderfully with other cats and has even made peace with the resident dog. Onyx may need a bit of extra care, but the joy, loyalty, and affection he brings are beyond measure.
