My story

Hi there, I'm Tony—a 6-month-old, 8-pound bundle of fluff! Long-haired Chihuahua mix, explorer of the backyard, master of zoomies, and proud owner of the softest fur my foster parents have ever touched (their words, not mine). If you're looking for a happy-go-lucky pup who’s equal parts playful and sweet, I might just be your guy. I'm working on crate training, potty trained, and I snooze through the night like a champ in my crate. Sure, I’m still a puppy—which means I come with all the fun and curiosity that implies—but I also have the biggest heart and can’t wait to give it to someone who’ll love me forever. Could that be you? Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption. Inquiries - If you would like more information on any dogs in the rescue, please email us at info@herorescue.org.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Tony, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
