My story

Meet JOHNNY! He is face of resilience! JOHNNY is approximately 2 years and 3 months old and weighs 57.4 pounds (as of February 27, 2025) We think he is a lab mix. We know he is super handsome! There are so many wonderful things to write about JOHNNY. He loves baths and to play catch. He is funny, gentle, sweet and loves dogs. He is smart and can follow basic commands. His foster says that JOHNNY is extremely affectionate and happy. JOHNNY loves to give hugs and kisses and loves to receive love. He is super trusting of people, he loves to be taken for walks, is fascinated by children, and gets along with other animals. JOHNNY enjoys walks by the sea, and he loves the water. JOHNNY walks on a leash and loves to ride in the car. He is afraid of Chihuahuas because he does not like when they bark at him. JOHNNY loves stuffed animals and toy balls. JOHNNY is a very special dog and deserves a forever family that loves him. But JOHNNY'S story wasn't always happy. Abandoned and discarded by his human he was lucky enough to be rescued. And it was those rescuers and foster who have nurtured JOHNNY restoring his confidence and trust in people. Whether playing, relaxing, traveling or snuggling, JOHNNY is the perfect companion.
