My story

Meet Patches — part puppy, part shadow, all heart. With regular outdoor breaks and a solid crate routine at night, he’s well on his way to being a housebreaking superstar. During the day, he might voice his opinion (read: bark or whine) if his humans disappear into a room without him—but give him a minute, and he’ll settle right down. He just likes to keep tabs on his people! Walks? Yes, please! Though he sometimes gets distracted by the very exciting world around him—think blowing leaves, curious dogs, chatty birds, and the occasional dandelion snack—Patches is getting better at walking a straight-ish line. Treats help. A lot. (And he’s already mastered “Sit!” Go, Patches!) Patches is currently winning over two teenage humans and a 7-year-old Wheaten Terrier who graciously tolerates his puppy antics. He’s all about his people—big or small, he adores them. His favorite move? Sitting on his humans like a little lap king. Cuddles are his love language, and he's got a snore that could melt hearts—especially when he falls asleep snuggled up close. This silly, bouncy, loyal little guy is the best of both puppy worlds: zoomies and fetch one moment, then curled up with a squeaky toy the next. His goofy ear swivels and proud little man strut are a constant source of entertainment. Despite a rough start to life, Patches is all-in when it comes to loving and trusting his people. He’s sweet, silly, and oh-so-ready to be someone’s forever sidekick. If you're looking for a velcro pup with a heart full of love and a lap full of snuggles, Patches is your guy!
