Tucker will steal your heart instantly! He wants to be loved by everyone he meets and become friends with every dog he sees! Tucker will play hard, and rest hard! He responds well to simple commands such as sit, stop, wait etc. but will need continued training. Tucker needs some work on the leash, as he lets his nose lead the way! He is smart and will walk better with some training. He loves to snuggle, and hugs too!He is a bit goofy, is absolutely adorable and such a pleasure to be around. His ideal family: A home who will give him lots of outdoor time, such as hikes and play time fenced yard. He would love another dog in the gome to play with, though not required. From his foster Tucker Update! Tucker is doing great in his foster home and continues to win hearts with his big personality and goofy charm! This handsome pup has a hilarious, lovable energy that makes everyone around him smile. Hes affectionate, sweet, and just wants to be close to his peoplehis foster mom describes him as a warm weighted blanket because he loves to cuddle up and be near you.Tucker is 100% house trained, highly food-motivated, and doing really well with basic training and commands. Hes eager to learn and wants to please, but like any young dog, he still has that classic puppy energy and could use some help polishing his manners.Hed thrive in a home thats active and experienced, with people who can provide him with consistent structure and lots of positive exposure to the world. Some new environments can still be a little overwhelming for him, but hes making progress every day.Tucker can be over-zealous when he sees other dogs from the backyardnot out of aggression, but because he wants to say hi to everyone! With guidance and continued training, hell learn how to navigate those big feelings. While hes still adjusting to his crate, hes making steady progress and is learning its a safe and comfy place. He sleeps in it overnight and rests in it during the day after meals, and with a little more time and patience, hell have it down.At his core, Tucker is just a big baby with a heart full of love. Hes going to make the best buddy for someone willing to invest a little time and a lot of love into him.
