My story

I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog J:5Meet Seabreeze – a gentle, sensitive girl ready to find her footing and flourish. &#239&#184&#143 At just over a year old and 42 lbs, Seabreeze is a beautiful Australian Shepherd mix with a soft soul and a whole lot of potential. She was adopted for a short time but came back to the shelter when the match wasn’t quite right—she’s still learning to feel safe around men and young children, and would do best in a calm, experienced home that can help her build trust at her own pace. Seabreeze has a few obedience skills under her belt already, and she’s eager to learn more! With her smarts, a love for gentle encouragement, and a willingness to connect, she could really blossom with some training, structure, and maybe even a little agility work to help her gain confidence. In playgroups, Seabreeze is more of a quiet observer than a social butterfly, but she’s calm and respectful with other dogs. A confident canine sibling could be a great role model for her as she continues to adjust to the world outside the shelter. This sweet pup may be shy at first, but once she feels safe, she leans in for affection and starts to show her true, loving self.
